Jessica Highstreet was born between two Great Lakes in Michigan, and raised on the shores of the Atlantic ocean in Florida. She currently lives, writes, and teaches in the shadows of the Rocky Mountains in Denver, Colorado. In June 2020, Jessica self-published her first book, Rose Hips– a collection about growth, identity, and learning to love the crooked path of life.

Rose Hips is a nostalgia-bomb portrait of Home- as it exists in place, in ourselves, and within the ones we love. This collection acknowledges life’s universal struggles and eases them with messages of hope and acceptance.
